1.0 Fan City Limited Introduction

In the era of digital transformation, blockchain technology has ushered in a new wave of innovation across various sectors, including sports. Fan City Limited presents a hockey-focused ‘Puck.City’ that aims to revolutionise how fans engage with their favorite sports across diverse domains starting with major league hockey.

City-Centric Fan Engagement: Fan City Limited envisions a tokenized approach for sports fan communities across different leagues and sports. Each city’s fan base is represented by its unique digital token. These tokens can be distributed through various channels, such as sales, participation rewards, or game outcome predictions.

The initial market entry point for Fan City limited starting with Puck.City is a decentralised application (dApp) on the Ethereum blockchain, providing a platform for user engagement with hockey leagues in a way never seen before. By leveraging smart contracts, Puck.City users can buy, sell, and claim tokens associated with different cities fan bases, participate in collective treasury governed on the blockchain, interact with other community members and be vested in the game they love, alongside their fellow fans. This whitepaper will elaborate on Puck.City’s vision, system design, technical specifications, tokenomics, and future plans.

Performance-Linked Engagement: The value of these city tokens is influenced by the performance of the respective sports teams. Just as in the Puck.City model, successful performances can drive token value up and trigger additional token distribution. This dynamic incentivizes fans to actively engage with their teams beyond mere spectatorship. Enhanced Fan Participation: Fan City introduces a fun and engaging way for fans to support their teams, regardless of the sport. The model fosters a sense of community and active involvement among fans, empowering them to be an integral part of their team’s journey.

In the age of digital transformation, blockchain technology has opened a new frontier in multiple sectors, including sports. Puck.City aims to harness the power of blockchain to revolutionize the way hockey enthusiasts interact with their favorite sport, by tokenizing hockey cities and democratizing key decision-making aspects of the sport.

Novel Concepts of PuckCity include

  1. Establish a $CITY Token for each fan base with major league sports presence: Each $CITY would have its own digital token associated with it, representing the respective city’s sports city. These tokens could be distributed to fans in various ways, such as through initial sales, rewards for fan participation, or as prizes for successful predictions of game outcomes
  2. Outcome-based Treasury Competition: The performance of the city’s sports team would affect the value of the tokens and the size of the $CITY treasury. If the team performs, the value of the tokens could increase. Over the course of multiple seasons, additional tokens could be minted and distributed to the token holders while increasing the user base is would in turn grow the treasury of each $CITY.
  3. Fan Engagement: This system could provide a fun and engaging way for fans to support their teams, beyond just cheering them on. They would have a tangible stake in the team’s success, creating a stronger sense of community and involvement.

3**.0 Vision**

The vision of Fan.City transcends individual sports, aiming to create vibrant and decentralized fan communities that extend across various sports leagues. The platform aspires to provide an arena where fans don’t just passively observe, but rather actively participate in the sports ecosystem, regardless of their preferred sport.
